My name is Fury in the Wind.  I am a Quarter Horse mare rescued from slaughter in New Jersey.

At one time, I belonged to someone who loved me and took good care of me.  I was trained and well mannered.  I don’t know what happened to my owner.  All I know is now I stood in the auction sad and lonely with a broken heart. I am a permanent resident of the Sanctuary.  Thank you for reading my story.
