My name is Sarge. I was living with my mother, Princess and Black

Beauty in deplorable conditions. We didn’t have enough to eat, no fresh

water and we were standing knee deep in manure. I was never taught

anything, and I was a handful. I am a big guy and was a wild one. I

didn’t trust anyone. The three of us were rescued and with months of

patience, persistence and love I have learned how to trust and behave.

I am living the life that I never even knew was possible at Rivers Edge.
